These stills are from Troye Sivan's music video to 'Wild'.
In this shot the camera tracks, following their feet and tilts slightly upwards when they get further away. The close up of their legs running is an effective shot that makes the narrative more interesting to watch, and is a possible technique that we could try to replicate in our music video.
This is a low angle, two shot of the boys. A mid shot is used to represent to the audience their relationship, as well as doing this through their non-verbal language. The movement of this shot is very subtle as the shot is focusing on showing their relationship, rather than an action.
This shot shows a close up of the top of a boy's legs, his behind, and his hands hanging by his hips. This type of shot was used to show what's in front of him and how close to the edge of the cliff he is standing. It's at a slight high angle so the audience is able to see the sea that is below him. This is a very emotion provoking shot as it can be interpreted into a very upsetting meaning. It creates an enigmatic mood within the music video.
This shot tracks in behind the two boys as they cycle away from the camera. The angle is kept slightly low to show them cycling off into the distance. Showing more of the sky makes the location of the shot more interesting to look at.
A drone is used to shoot this part of the music video. It caused the camera to fly over the two boys to show the whole location around them in one smooth shot. It's a extremely high angle shot that makes them look very small in the big location around them.
