KT: Digipak production task

We were given the task to create a digipak for an album using our own photography skills and editing through photoshop to create a front cover and memorable image. I chose to take pictures of a lavender plant as flowers are often used to symbolise many emotions and can be portrayed musically alongside being visually pleasing. I then got a template of a woman’s head sillhouete and added it to my photoshop window, creating a mask cutout, then using an effect to make the original picture I had taken of the flower to appear in the shape of the sillhoete. Finally I measured out the dimensions on a white background for an actual album cover, and added the picture on top, then adding text to complete.
